Volunteer Victoria has provided this space to advertise
educational opportunities offered by Volunteer Victoria’s
member agencies at no cost to volunteers in our community. The goal is
to provide
collaborative
training for volunteers
of agencies working in like areas (e.g. seniors, youth services, at-risk
populations, etc.), as well as to provide an opportunity for potential
volunteers to access educational opportunities in an area of interest.
These trainings are offered at no cost, however, there may be a small fee if food is provided. Please contact the person listed on the registration form to sign-up for the session.
If you are an agency wanting to post shared training and educational
opportunities on this page, please provide a flyer for your workshop (in PDF
format please) and we’ll list it for you. We have created a short
guide that
gives information about the benefits of collaborative training and provides
tips on information to include in your flyer. Please send your submission to volvic@volunteervictoria.bc.ca.
